Camiel Coppens

Camiel graduated from the royal academy of art in The Hague (Kabk) in 2004. His work in 1646 is a time–line, consisting of bullet–proof and water–tight boxes that contains a collection of personal documents and memories, all collected as a proof of his existence. The time–line is lined up in a chronological order towards a tree meter high gate symbolizing an end or a continuation to something else. With his fairly dark views on life he compose moments and situations for us to reflect on our self.
